SO glad you found your wallet, that's just great. I had that happen to me, just as I went to get a new driver's license and had to get a new card, I find my card case. It'd fallen in the landing, just outside my apartment door, and was leaning up against the wall right beside it. Noticed it when I came up the stairs, a day or so later...
Yeah, my favorite Chinese place closed up shop in recent years over in my old 'hood, Queen Anne Hill, sad but these places often do.
There really isn't any decent Chinese restaurants on Capitol Hill anymore since the Jade Pagoda closed shop in 2006. These days, it's kind of over run with Pho shops.

George and I had been going to a Chinese restaurant called " The Shanghai Garden" for close to a decade when it suddenly and mysteriously closed. Their sweet & sour shrimp was the best I've ever had!
That's some awesome progress, Phil. Glad to hear things have been coming together and the Big Day is imminent! We went for Chinese and tried a new one last night. It was delicious, but pricey. I hope our local, shopping center take-away that's less than five minutes from the house doesn't close anytime soon. They're pretty good. Some others nearby (heck, I can think of about a half-dozen within ten minutes....) are marginal to good...

We went for Chinese and tried a new one last night. It was delicious, but pricey. I hope our local, shopping center take-away that's less than five minutes from the house doesn't close anytime soon.
