Feels like I'm wearing ear plugs all the time.
Ironically, wearing foam earplugs through the whole flight may help. When I used to fly a lot for work, a pair of earplugs large enough to really block the air would keep the pressure stable further in, and saved me from hours of trying to get my ears to pop if I put them in before the door was closed.
