Since a Raiders win is a rare treat for me the last few years, I am hitting all the sports sites I can think of to revel in the good feelings.  I almost never go to ESPN's site anymore, as it sucks even harder than the actual network.  I went there today, and holy crap is it a mess.  Good luck finding anything there.

So apparently Daunte Culpepper will start the Raiders' next preseason game, which makes him the favorite to be under center when the season opens.  I haven't seen him take any snaps for the Raiders so I hope this isn't a desperation move.  Although one of the best results of this is that C-Pepp kicks ass and Jamarcus Russell isn't even needed.  F ( Read more... )

Note to all: There is exactly one instance where it is acceptable for a grown person to wear a sports jersey in public, particularly one with another person's name on the back, and that is at an actual sporting event.  Anywhere other than that is just sad, and probably involves jorts as well.
