Sorry to hear about the fleas. We just did battle with them a couple months ago here, and it was a real pain. I didn't think I'd ever find anything to wipe the bastards out.

I am anticipating renting a carpet cleaner for a few weeks running (~once a week for four or five weeks) and hitting the cat with more repellent. I used the "natural" crap on him and I don't think it did anything, although he hated the eucalyptus oil SO much! Ha.

Advantage, which you can get at the vet's office will eliminate the fleas on your cat. As for the house, we ended up setting off those bombs. It sucks 'cause so much is required to do it, but it's the only thing that completely got rid of them.

As a warning, don't use any herts (not sure if I'm spelling that right) on your pet. A good friend of mine is a vet tech in Austin and tells me that they have pets come in all the time suffering from seizures and such because of their products.
