I deleted my good reads account today after I got a request from someone (I think it was a friend of Rosie's) that I've never met.  I was already feeling a little weird about it, but that put me over the top. So, honey. 'It's my problem, not yours."  We just can't keep meeting like that anymore. 
lj is gonna have to do it for now.

Hey Lauren,
It was more like weariness than wisdom that led me here, I'm afraid. I'm good, looking forward to lotta babies coming next month. (Our second grandchild among them). Those life and death issues keep the stuff like politics and globabl warming in perspective.
I know you like your job. Are you planning to work to pretty much the last minute?

hey, have you read the book, Revenge of the Middle-Aged Woman? i usually like to read escapist kind of stuff, but this one was a thoughtful, charming story.
