someone has asked me to design some flash banners. i'd only be responsible for the design as they have someone to do the flash. however, i've never worked on something like this. not sure how this would work...would i design the main frames of the action in illustrator or photoshop and then hand over the files to the flash developer? thoughts &

What's easier for you? Designing business cards first, and then implimenting that layout onto letterhead? Or vice versa?

I don't know if this is allowed here, or if you think it is better suited at another community please direct me. I am going into my senior year of college finishing up my BFA next year. I really loved the way Jacob translated what he was hearing into imagery. really interesting on so many levels aside from a designer's stand point.

Can anyone tell me some shortcuts or tips to make it look like you spent a lot of time on something? My work tends to look very basic no matter how much time i spend , i'm trying to change that.

Do y'all ever get a client emailing you to request services and all they give you is an extremely vague, "I want you to design a _____ for me (tshirt design, for example)." I'm just wondering how you guys get yourselves motivated when you're feeling totally apathetic, having a tough time getting work done.

I'm trying to find a way to get myself revved up and working again, it's been a bad few months and totally taking a toll on my work.
