Well...

When a game stops being a game and becomes an obsession, it's time to walk away. That's my simple thought.

Going a bit deeper - As you say, you're not having fun, you've become a poor loser, your diet and condo are a mess; ditch the game! Theologically, I would suggest that the game has become an 'idol' for you - it consumes all your spare time, drives you into almost a sense of slavery to it, and yet it does *not* love you because it is nothing but paper, wood and/or plastic. Moses would have you grind it up, sprinkle it on the water and then force you to drink it.

Walk away. For your own sanity, walk away.

I agree with this. Many players have gotten tired of the game and taken breaks in the past, and there's no point in continuing if you don't enjoy it. But don't throw away the flashcards - you never know when you'll want to start up again.

I guess the biggest thing for me is this:

I know all the fours, all the fives (at least I did)...

I know more bingos than ANY other 1300 player. I know more bingos than 80% of any 1600 or 1700 player. And I'm still 1300. I hit the 1400s for a short time.

That's why I say I *deserve* to win more. That's why it's no fun. I don't put in all that time to sit in the 1300s.

And I don't even care... that's the biggest thing telling me it's time to walk away.
