Slam!

She entered to find foolish wand waving moving things about in their small sitting room. Eyebrows raised, she noted the gleaming wood, the sofa free of feline hair for once, and all of their books neatly in place.

Hesitating, he dropped his arm and looked…well, haughty. As haughty as possible when one is caught skiving off potions work to ( Read more... )

Thank you! It just hit me as I was planning some housecleaning of my own that this would be a wonderful time to have some magical powers.

Cleaning, of course. What else would one (or two!) do in the bedroom anyway?

Very sweet. I liked this Severus a lot!

*whistles innocently* Is there something else you think they'd be doing? :D

I am absolutely in awe of your drabbles. I sweated for two hours to try to say something meaningful in 200 words. I can't imagine coming up with as many as you have that are all of such high quality.

Thank you for reading!

They could always be playing chess there? Or discussing potions theories? ;-)

Thanks for the kind words - and keep writing! It should get easier. For me, the first ones were the absolute hardest ones. Learn to accept and embrace those plot bunnies! :-D

Wizarding chess...of course that's what they are doing!

I hope drabble writing gets easier. I've written two pieces for the previous SS/HG exchange, where it was possible to just follow the plot bunnies where they chose to go. However, to me, paring a thought down to 100 words is nearly impossible. It really made me go back again and again to try to make things more meaningful. I'm just a very wordy person! :D

Thank you! I'm pretty much incapable of any other genre besides fluff, so I'm glad you liked. :D

Thank you so much! I find that I have a valve that requires me to let out some fluff every so often, or else I might explode. :D
