Oh, that was filled with angst and just deliciously so.

How she tries to make it out that she did it for him, when really it was for her own selfish reasons is wonderfully hinted at.

I figure, she knows she should have talked it over with him beforehand, and is trying to make herself feel better by saying that he wouldn't have wanted a child. Yes, Hermione is quite the selfish bitch in this one.
