WOW! A lovely image. I love seeing Albus and Lily chiding Snape and Snape actually accepting help from Ron! By the way, Amycus and Alecto may be willing to expand their cleaning services, Death Eater Domestics! "You-Know-Us! If it's not spotless, that's Unforgiveable!"

Thank you! I'm becoming addicted to drabbles, me thinks.

Death Eater Domestics! "You-Know-Us! If it's not spotless, that's Unforgiveable!"

BWAH! I love it! Now, if only it were real so they'd do my house.

I've always liked the idea of Samhain, and the thinness of the veil between planes. You used that underlying mythology to good purpose here.

I have only one question. However did you get Ron to be so nice to Severus?

Thanks! I adore Samhain, and its rituals are how I stave off SAD.

Also, about Ron being nice, the wheel turns as it must. Sometimes the turning is good. Sometimes, it's challenging. ;-)

I love the Samhain rituals. They're only slightly less-favored than the Yule rituals in our home. We do the Yule log, the feast, the games, and everything.

You're quite right about Ron. He has the potential to be most things, doesn't he?

In our house, Samhain, Yule, and Beltane are the biggies. My favorite of all the rituals is to light luminaries. We also do Hogmanay, complete with oat cakes.

The holidays really do help with the seasonal blues.

Ron has alot of potential, that's why he's hard (for me) to write, so I usually kill him off. Cowardly, I know, but then, I'm not a Gryff.

So Severus finally caves in, eh? Only takes a few ghosts to remind him of the beauty around him. ;-)

This is a lovely drabble, and you work in the imagery with the pumpkin wonderfully.

Well, the two ghosts in question would have been rather persistent and annoying, no doubt.

Thanks for the compliments. There's just something about jack o'lanterns, you know?

pumpkins seem to be brining out the inner romantics in teh DEs.

Also a response to the ghosts intervening challenge.

Oooh! I got two in one. Hee!

Yeah, there's just something about candlelight in a carved gourd to bring out the romance. :-D

Thank you! I'm having fun with these. Although, that ultimate challenge looks daunting.

Daunting indeed! LOL I'm considering skipping it, and answering a single previous challenge.
