I loved the image of her childhood spread out around her, and there was a lot of ingenious plottiness too.

Thanks so much. I had planned to end it at the 4th section when she tells Severus "I want my mum." But that stubborn Severus wouldn't let it end there, he had to find a way to get his Hermione her hearts desire. ;-)

What a contrast! From utter despair to utter joy in only 800 words! The first heartbreaking four were full of emotion and angst. It was nice to know that finding the Grangers had been a joint effort by all their friends.

Hey, that's something I've never seen in SSHG, the Wilkes desappearing because of a witness protection program! Great idea! :)

Thanks! It would be a good way to have them vanish and explain where they went. I'm not sure they even have a WPP in Australia, maybe the victim was killed by an American mobster.
