Obviously, Hermione's parents never took her camping in the primitive section of the campground. A lack in Hermione's education? Nothing to get so fussed over, really...

But did anyone really like the lesser appointed areas of camping? Personally, I always tried to sway my family to the sites furthest away from those facilities. At least Hermione sees that the situation isn't one of Severus' own making.

You've got me imagining Hermione casting a sanding spell, followed by a polishing spell to get rid of the dust. Of course she won't realise how slippery that will be, so she'll slide off and bruise her bottom.
