Severus pinched his nose, struggling to explain, "As a child, my family lacked the means to upgrade our home. Since becoming a teacher, I've lacked the opportunity. Now that the war is over, I possess both. It's only for tonight Hermione. Right now I'm much too tired to cast the spells necessary for indoor loo creation.”
Hermione gazed at her lover, realizing that she couldn't fault him for this unseemly situation. As she walked outside to the primitive facilities, she muttered “I'd better not get a splinter in my arse.”
