Methinks you underestimate Miss Granger! I don't think the Draught of Living Death would be enough to fool Hermione. I can almost see her dragging his "corpse" to the party anyway, propping him up on a chair and sticking a birthday hat on his head, just to spite him for his trick. But then again, that's just me!
