I have bad taste in books

Kwantlen went on strike. Tomorrow it'll be normal. Gee, then what's the point?

I went to the library yesterday and borrowed the Photoshop Bible and a novel. The Bible's pretty interesting but the novel...?
It's called Kushiel's Chosen. A red flag should've been raised by just the title. But I promised myself to at least finish a novel this year.

You know, there hasn't been any sex, but I'm in chapter 6...but there was this weird lesbian moment with her and I think a priestess, not sure. The writing is confusing as hell.
Maybe I don't have to finish this novel.

I knew this was part of a trilogy, just don't know which book came first. But if I find a part about a fireplace pick, I'll sure inform you.

It's mainly because I can't stand the characters. Sure there are good books out there but I'd have to sift through the crapage to find one
