A couple of things have made me realise how out of touch I am with modern life. I have got used to not understanding lj postings when they are full of comouter jargon, but last week at London Bridge the Oyster card readers were not working. What is an Oyster card ? How many shellfish travel on the tube or rail lines.

I saw a coach trip adveriised in my local paper "Tescos and The Eden prodject " is this not a strange combination.There is some cream advertised on Tele that makes your wrinkles look ten years younger. I have just seen this great Horizon programme about this probe going to Saturn and seeing sights no one has seen before. It is the product of 14 years research and a 7 year journey.
