Swan shivered after being trapped in teh rain all night. he was soaked clear through to the point his bones felt cold. As soon as morning came he was up and moving trying to get warm and dry. He hadn't pulled out of the depression yet and he didn't think he ever would. Most people left him be except for the few visits from Plissken. The necklace was more a burden to him but he wore it anyway. He had to or he might lose his mind ( ... )

She whimpered softly as he pulled her up and towards his lap. Everything seemed fuzzy to her and she didn't know how long she had been gone, how long she had been falling or where she was. She just felt the cold. Aggie began to shiver, eyes still closed.

After a moment her face seemed to crumple, and tears fell down her face, "Let me go back..please...I want to go back."

Swan was still frozen in place when she started to cry. He felt torn. He was afraid of her wings, terrified of what ever had happpened but he still felt the same even if she came back from the dead.

He finally touched the tears on her cheek. He was having a hard time with this. He'd seen her die, felt her body when she had stiffened from death and here she was alive. Swan started questioning the past few days. He wasn't sure if they were real anymore or maybe they were and this was a dream. HE suddenly wanted to scream and run but he didn't dare move. She was too cold and he was too cold to move from the spot he was in.

She felt the touch on her cheek and frowned just a little. No one had touched her tenderly since she had died. Noone had been able to. What had they done to her?

Reaching up she placed her hand over the one touching her tears and her frown deepened. Someone was there, someone who could touch her. Her eyes opened and there was confusion on her face. A couple of blinks as she tried to focus.

Snake had come in late. It was hard with all the planning and the hell his life had been going through. Trudging up the stairs he heard someone coming toward him and drew his gun. To his surprise it was Swan, terrified and undressed. Of all the wierd things this caused him to blink a couple times.

What the fuck have you gotten into?

Snake could only imagine drugs causing this.

She has wings.

Snake looked at Swan and wasn't sure of this mess.

Who?

Angel.

Snake shook his head. He must be losing his mind.

Swan, she's dead.

He shook his head and looked down the hall toward the open door.

I'm too tired for this.

You don't believe me?

Snake watched the fear turn to determination. She's in the bed where I left her.

Sanek could only imagine what that meant. Sighing he headed toward the door and into the bedroom. Sure enough Aggie was laying there with wings spread out.

I told you. Swan's voice wa mocking and Snake tried to ignore it.

When'd this happen?

Few hours ago. I found her on the beach by the pier.

Sanke stared for a ( ... )

She shivered a little, missing the warmth from Swan's body next to her own. Reahing down she pulled the covers up, her wings moving to wrap around her as she pulled up the duvet.

Holy Fuck! Snake barely whispered it then looke at Swan. He had the look of a deer about to bolt.

Least she's back to how I remember her.

Swan's eyes got wide.

You two get some sleep. I'll see you in the morning.

Snake was too tired for this. Aggie was obviously tired it could wait until morning.

You can't just leave me here?

Snake looked at Swan.

I've got my own naked girl waiting for me downstairs. I'm not standing up here and watching you stare at her.

Without even opening her eyes and looking where theyw ere standing, Aggie reached out and grabbed Swan's pillow and tossed it at them, hitting one of them with it.

"Things were more peaceful when you two weren't talking," She turned and stretched, not really aware if the fact she had been dead and was an angel because she was so tired.

"Baby, come back to bed, it's cold."
