Personally, I think this is beautiful and I can easily see it as a canon 'x years down the line' fic. There are a few things in this fic I really loved, but I think my favorite is probably the house and how important it is to Nick. I love that he would get attached to an object like that, but it makes sense. After all, he was never able to stay in one place for very long, but that house became an actual home that he could come back to. I like that they all have their own room in the house for thinking and that Jamie has drenched it with magic ( ... )
