hi. maybe not my place to say, but can I suggest that your father might not be the man you rememeber him to be had he lived until today? Just as you have changed in 20 years, so would have your father and for you, he is frozen in time and you maybe have not given his memory justice to pertify his ideologies into a time many years ago. I speak from the point of view of one who has not lost his father. I came out almost 10 years ago and over the years my father and I have become quite close. he's very caring and supportive of my life and tells me he loves me every time we speak on the phone. It wasn't always like that though. I was once asked to not bring someone home... he would never do that to me today. He knows how important it is that when he's gone that there's someone there in his son's life that cares about him and will be there for him when he needs a soft place o fall. Love is blind to our gender in the end and in ten years a hunting/fishing/ roughneck northern ontario man has come around to see his son as a man and a man who ( ... )
