Bry was thinking. Most people would say that was unusual for him and it kind of was, but he'd had a.. complicated.. weekend. Friday with Savannah had been.. amazing. It had seemed like a really good idea at the time, but he was sure it had meant more to him and now he was just about sulking, because all those old feelings he'd tried to suppress were there, bubbling at the surface, and he couldn't seem to keep her from his mind.
As if that wasn't enough, coming towards him now was his prat of a brother. All the insults from the other day came back to him in a rush - the way he'd tried to play nice, the way he'd let himself almost like Jeremy for a moment only for him to talk about Savannah the way he had - it all infuriated Bry.
"Bloody fucking tosser," he muttered to himself, not even bothering with a greeting as he drew closer to the boy. That is, unless you counted the fist he sent flying right at his older brother's jaw. That seemed an appropriate way to say "hello," to Bryant, at least.
