I loved this. And I really like what you were saying here-
"So you're saying that something that turns you on in the abstract might not work for you at all in the concrete."

I second that emotion. There is a distinction between fiction and reality, and how we respond to both -- after all, there should be, otherwise, perhaps that means we don't entirely understand the distinction -- but it's something few people conceptualize and articulate. Very interesting.

For some reason when it comes to sex, lots of folks don't seem to get the reality/fantasy disctinction. "If you want to read about it, you must want to do it." No, not so much. /g/

I feel a little better about a few things myself

Oh, God, yeah. There are lots of things I like in porn that I never want to experience myself, or have John and Rodney experience, for that matter. It's weird. Some anonymous guy in a gang fuck, and I am totally there. John in a gang fuck is a story I can't get away from fast enough.

Hmmm, there may have been some personal experience in this fic. /g/
