[Sounds continue]

That'd be great if you could.

It's not a problem.

[Tenenbaum looks quite...unhappy. These mistletoe creatures are causing a lot of trouble.]

One he is finished, make him lay down. Have him take some of this.

[Attachment: A bottle of liquid stomach aid]

It will help diminish the symptoms. Do not allow him to eat more. Too much and he will die. And there may be another one appearing soon. They seem to come back once one is killed.

Thanks. Just a sec.

[A few minutes later, video comes on. Apollo's lying on a couch looking queasy with the empty medicine bottle beside him.]

I never saw that plant before... Should'a smelled it more before I ate it...

[Hawkmon enters from the side, trying not to look worried.]

Is there anything else I should do for him?

Besides making him as comfortable as possible, I do not know. He will need to be covered up and kept warm. Fever is one of the symptoms as well. I will bring some soup once he can keep something down. Keep him drinking water.

Okay

[Apollo coughs up most of the first glass of water, but manages to keep down the second while Hawkmon scurries off and returns dragging the blanket from Apollo's bed. He covers Apollo up.]

Ain't had soup in a while...

He will need to return to the bathroom immediately, and he will not want to leave for a while. One of the principle effects of Mistletoe ingestion is diarrhea.

If he's already sick, it's too late to purge it. Fortunately, Mistletoe isn't fatal except in EXTREMELY high, concentrated doses.

Also, his pulse is going to slow down, so he'll probably get a little tired.

He'll be fine in time, but he should NOT do this again. Hopefully he'll have learned his lesson.

[Sighs] Yeah, he just found that out...

[Unmentionable sounds in background.]

I don't think he'll be eating anything without checking it first anytime soon.

The next 48 hours are going to be downright unpleasant, and two or three days after that will still be bad. He should recover for the most part after that.

If he's got accelerated healing, that time will naturally be lessened.

I dunno how fast he heals. He's never been hurt or gotten sick since I met him. He can go out in the snow in a vest and shorts though, so he's pretty tough at least. Hope that's enough.
