Tuesdays are nice

I have busy weeks (watercolor on Mondays, workout on Wednesdays, guitar on Thursdays), but Tuesdays are a bit less running around. It's cool. Not that I've been productive or anything.

Phase one of beacon_hills is over, and it seems that even if I joined late I managed to finish 10th in points. Cool

I'm almost finished with the first draft - when they decide to stop having sex, can't go on for ever, right? - then I want to go back and add more Peter... Some of it is very clunky, it will need tons of editing work, but as soon as I have something halfway decent I'll send it over to you :)

we're watching S1 episode 5 tonight (well there are 3 set times, Friday should do it for me) and it's a lot of fun to watch and chat at the same time. Jamie clued me into the comm: watchalong

yes! I've done it every year since 2006 or so... I usually up my word count pledged every year, but this time I acutally cut it down by half (last year was 1000 a day, that I DID, but it was more stressful than fun).

I'm such a procrastinator, though, I almost always wait until it's the very last thing I do before bed, like starting at 12:30...

I'm happy at the word count I have, none the less!

go you, too! it's a nice motivation to get shit done, right? =D

I did it last year for the first time and I committed to 500 words. This year I reduced it to 400, but a lot of times I do more than that. The only problem is I'm having trouble getting in the mindset to actually finish something, rather than just writing my minimum words. Oh, every day I tell myself I'm going to write during the day, but then I always end up doing it at night when I'm tired and there are lots of distractions. /sigh

It's a great tool to get stuff done, I love it.

I am so amazed by Teen Wolf fans. I've never sen a single episode of the show, things operate differently here and I don't have a computer so I can DL the episodes, but still. I know the characters and I have read so many fics it's not even funny.

But, yes, my point is, TW fans are some of the nicest people, the most enthusiastic I have ever seen. Is it just me as an outsider or does this fandom have the least hate? Ever?

hee, I have done that before, reading fic without even having seen the show. (Stargate Atlantis, I am looking at you, and in fact I did for Teen Wolf too). It's mostly tumblr and Derek's handsome face/body that made me want to check it out. In fact, a friend of mine sent me the show on a USB key, that's how I caught up :)

I've had a very positive experience with TW fans myself, lots of enthusiasm for sure. Oh, there's drama like everywhere, but for now - in my corner at least - it's very loving. I sure hope I stay in that bubble forever =D
