Tuesdays are nice
I have busy weeks (watercolor on Mondays, workout on Wednesdays, guitar on Thursdays), but Tuesdays are a bit less running around. It's cool. Not that I've been productive or anything.
Phase one of beacon_hills is over, and it seems that even if I joined late I managed to finish 10th in points. Cool.
Here are a couple of things I did for the challenges:
Rainbow icons (THEY SUCK, BUT I HAD A CONCEPT, OKAY? lol!)
(my DW layout won't let Derek be where he's supposed to be, but fudge it! he goes at the end of the row by Allison, in his purple glory)

Why this song fits: It's a bit angsty, it talks about heartbreak, so I see the song as fitting Scott and Allison at the end of season 2, when Allison is on the warpath.

Why this song fits: I'll admit Matt's crush on Allison was creepy as hell. All in his head, and he was a very disturbed boy. But the dramatic mood of the song sort of suits him, I think, and how he'd bring everything back to him and his numerous issues.

Why this song fits: It's a gorgeous blues piece (with beautiful angsty guitar), and I totally see it fit Derek after Kate destroyed his life.

Why this song fits: This one puzzled me, since it's upbeat and and I didn't know with whom to fit it. But I see it part Peter - it's kind of sassy - and well... Lydia sort of dug him up, didn't she? (the only problem is how the song keeps saying he's the last honest man living in this town, which... NO. though Peter would maybe say that ;) )

Why this song fits: I love Jackson, I really do, but the boy sure thinks he's the hottest in town, doesn't he? The hyper confidence he uses as a front hides how insecure he really is, but I am convinced that he does count on his looks/money to assure that "I'm everyone's type"

Why this song fits: It's an haunting song, where the protagonist are living an intimate moment before one of the two dies... so it made me think of Chris agreeing to kill his wife so she doesn't turn into a werewolf.

Pairing: Sheriff Stilinski/Mrs Stilinski
Why this song fits: We don't have much info about Stiles' mother, but in my head she was a pistol, full of energy (before she got sick) and had a very intense relationship with daddy!Stilinski. Especially at first, when they met (I am sure he pulled her over for something). The energy of the song made me think of her/them.
"Lazy devils outsleepin' off the smokes and wine
dirty laundry in the yards hangin' off the lines
all the promised we made crashed and burned away

In writing news, holding strong with mini_wrimo, still doing my minimum of 500 words a day... up to now in November I'm at around 13 500 words: the twreversebang fic is at 18K and wrapping up (I'll surely finish in the next couple of days. YAY!)
