[When the earthquake hits Veser's first instinct is to hide under his blankets until it stops. A regressive reaction: hide and your safe. Hide and the monsters earthquake can't hurt you. Once things in his room stop ratting and falling over he snaps back and hurls himself out of bed.]

Lee?! Lee! [Veser rockets out of his room, down the stairs and to the basement, a blue of flailing limbs, bedhead and baggy sweatpants.]

[The ghost is there, startled, but otherwise unharmed. When he sees Veser he drifts over and encases the boy in a ghostly embrace.]

Oh jeez, I'm so glad you're alright. Y-you are fine, right?

[He motherhens over Ves, stepping back and taking a moment to fuss over him, eyeing him and making sure there wasn't any physical harm.]

[He's fine physically, though clearly rattled. Veser has never been one to wake up quietly and an earthquake is a rude awakening for anyone.]

He manages a soft smile, muted, but as meaningful as ever.]
