[When the earthquake hits Veser's first instinct is to hide under his blankets until it stops. A regressive reaction: hide and your safe. Hide and the monsters earthquake can't hurt you. Once things in his room stop ratting and falling over he snaps back and hurls himself out of bed.]
Lee?! Lee! [Veser rockets out of his room, down the stairs and to the basement, a blue of flailing limbs, bedhead and baggy sweatpants.]
[Lee catches himself a little late. Between being frazzled over the sudden shakeup and seeing a very jittery Veser...]
-Undertaker. I meant Undertaker.
[ he imagines jars of jam and other food things falling on their landlord's head while shoved in a fridge. Lee blinks a few times and shrugs off the mental image. He'd rather not picture the strange man having his heard cracked in by some misplaced jar or the toppling of the fridge.]
Lets...find him. Stay close, there might be an aftershock.
[He sounds tired, like all the excitement had drained right out of his bones. It was true in a sense. Lee begins his search by checking the closets, floating close enough to poke his head through the mahogany wood.]
[Veser takes it upon himself to check the more obvious places. He peers into the living room to check the couch, under the couch, behind the curtains, in the unbroken urns decorating the room.]
Taker? Hey, Taker!
[It really is much easier to say than 'Undertaker', huh.]
[next the ghost checks the unused coffins. And when he drifts by the bathroom, he even checks under the sink (because you never know with the Undertaker).]
[There's a heavy thunk and metal crash as the door to the oven pops open. Taker had slipped in there early in the morning, before the sun had ever begun to peek its way over the horizon. Just now has he woken, roused by the earthquake. Though, of course, it had taken a little while for the realization that something is happening to kick in. A tangled mess of gray peeks out while his hands hold on the edge of the door as he pushes it down.]
Oh my~ what a mess you've made, Veser, what have I told you about your rough-horsing~ [In reference to the broken urns all over the place.]
[Lee blinks, a little aghast. And that's when his senses kicks in and he approaches Taker, hands out, gesturing towards the oven and Taker and overall a little flustered. The venting of his worry as it settled in.]
What are you doing in there. You had us worried! The oven could have turned on- and then what?
heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~ [Always so cute, his housemates. Veser so blunt, without tact or class. And aaaaaaaah that ghastly look on the translucent, ghostly face. Always so worried, Lee, so concerned, so choked. There's half a mouthful of saliva to swallow as the tall man somehow relieves himself of the confined space, heels clicking onto the floor. (Yes, he's completely clothed.) Fingers weave themselves in the locks of Veser's gray hair, musing them. His attention, or rather the general direction of his face, is on Lee though.]
Then it would get rather toasty wouldn't you think~? haaahahahaaa~

Oh jeez, I'm so glad you're alright. Y-you are fine, right?
[He motherhens over Ves, stepping back and taking a moment to fuss over him, eyeing him and making sure there wasn't any physical harm.]
Reply
Y-Yeah, I'm fine. Are you okay? Uh...you know, as okay as you can get like you are.

He manages a soft smile, muted, but as meaningful as ever.]
I'm okay. Didn't feel a thing.
[He looks around]
What about Taker? Have you seen him?
Reply
I didn't see him, he might still be asleep. Probably in the fridge or something.

[Of course Undertaker would be in the one place they didn't think to look. Of course.]
