SUPERNATURAL FINALE

As usual . . .

[ANGSTY SPOILERS]EVERYTHING IS CURSED AND EVERYTHING HURTS. How in blazes do you guys manage to kill off a Winchester almost every season, and still make us cry every freaking time? Writers. I should hate them, but I want to be of their ilk--no, I WILL be one. Metatron better die a very horrific death, and not in the rather anticlimactic way that Read more... )

I heard about the finale and I got kinda nostalgic and was like, "maybe I should've kept up with the show this season" because the ending sounds really, really cool.

But then the more rationale part of me was like, "You know, they'll probably find a way to fix it by Episode 2. . .like they ALWAYS do."

Anyway, for the fans who stuck around, the twist sounds really interesting. I just don't think it'll stick in the long run or they'll find some way to reverse it before the winter hiatus.

The entire season felt like a slow-burn filler/setup for the finale. At least, that's my impression now. I'm going to review it and see if I pick up on anything else during the hiatus--hellatus, rather.

I REALLY hope they don't fix Dean's demon problem right away, distressing though it is. This needs to be something we get to explore from every angle all season long. Because there's so much potential.

TNT plays the old seasons of Supernatural and I happened to watch two episodes of it today (the husband and wife witch episodes, with Charisma Carpenter and James Masters, and when the Levithans doppelganged Sam and Dean and went on the murder spree) and was like, "Man, maybe I shouldn't have given up on the show because these episodes aren't that bad." Especially since, like you mentioned, Season 10 may be their last.

But, yeah, on the whole, I heard a lot of people complaining about this season being boring and slow. Eventually, I feel like they'll undo Dean's demon problem; but not like in two episodes like I joked. I mean, I hope not.

I did get nostalgic today and part of me is thinking that if my library gets Season 9 on DVD, I may catch up and start watching it again. *shrugs*

Heh, the doppleganger episode had some good moments, alright.

Indeed. Several people on my friends list just watch bits and pieces now, and I don't blame them.
