Do enjoy your new-found "space" without a roommate..... and reclaiming all of it for yourselves. The DOES lend a sense of speciousness, doesn't it?

Yes indeed we are enjoying our reclaimed 'elbow room' so to speak.

Small Business Saturday was started awhile back as an answer to Black Friday, the shopping craze which is the day after Thanksgiving. Seems that malls and such were getting all the business and someone thought that small independent retailers should be celebrated too. So the Saturday after Thanksgiving has come to be known as Small Business Saturday and many independent retailers enjoy increased business on those days. We will probably go to the tree lighting on our town's square on Friday and then return Saturday for shopping.
