Pushed to the back of your mind? Bah! They don't deserve even that real estate! Shove them right out of your head! Only the power of well and truly not giving a shit about their sorry asses can free you! Sadly, they will never lose any sleep over how they have treated you and your parents, because people like them are incapable of caring about their impact on others. Return them the favor and not care about them either. Either that, or take this engagement as the opportunity to send a lovely gift. I strongly suggest this one.

OOOOOOOOH I would LOVE to send that to them! It'd be so awesome! The only thing is, it's actually quite cute and daring and they don't deserve anything nice! LOL My parents would find it hilarious though
