One hour after posting up my complaint that I went through all of that paperwork/expense for nothing, I got an email from the Air Force requesting a copy of my passport.

*laugh*

Ok that's just scary.

So almost a year ago I started the long, tedious process of attempting to get a birth certificate from Canada. I downloaded all of the forms and discovered that they required a Canadian public official to fill out forms as your "guarenteeor" to prove you are who you say you are, someone who has known your for at least 3 years.
