I wanted you to know that I have been reading with deep sympathy your narratives regarding your father and his death. Some ways, it is easier for me to respond to something a bit simpler, like the stories of your "creative ticketing" airplane misadventure; but the death of a parent just about has to be a big deal in and of itself, even when we knew it was coming. *Hugs* and hang in there, and let's hope the airplane stories are the worst things to happen to you for many years to come.

Then _that_ flight was delayed an hour. First for loading some freight and then, as the pilot said, "they're loading some baggage from flight that was canceled earlier." Well, I guess having the flight delayed but knowing your luggage is on it is OK. But what were they doing with those five hours between flights?

I don't think I like George's theme associated with this. (Never mind George.)
