I confess I found the Curios hard going. I tried and gave up a few times until this noodge. The conceit of iconic characters interacting just didn't grab me. And though I sense some allegorical parallels, I don't think I've learned anything new about either the characters as written, or what they represent. Though maybe that's asking too much in such a short length.
I do keep an eye on the wine bar feed RSS, so I at least have a look at each new entry. I think you've found a solid, professional style for them.
I definitely give everything that appears here a quick read. Some I reread later with more leisure. Sorry if I'm not commenting enough. Being an information addict I tend to go through all my feeds and friends and websites at a dead run through the day, marking stuff for more detailed perusal later.
The wine stuff has grabbed me more than the fiction, at least the last few bits. But it's all very interesting to me.
It's ok, it helps to know other people's habits so I know why some things get a comment and others don't. I try to let things go with the idea that long entries get a smaller readership, and only a small number of readers ever comment anyway.
I read the fiction when time permits (which, admittedly, has only been about 50% of the time recently, but as life stabilises I suspect the percentages will begin hovering closer to my early 85-90%). The articles I only click through to if the subject matter is actively interesting to me, and wine in general isn't a topic I'm endlessly curious about.
I only comment if I feel I have something meaningful to contribute, but if it helps, I can try to pipe up even if it's just to say, "enjoyed it, thanks" ...
Comment whatever comes to mind; it's all good. I like knowing people's reading habits and try to assume that no matter what I do only a portion of the readership will comment. Thanks!
LJ has been getting neglected recently due to too much shit going on around here - anything that takes more than two minutes gets dropped. I'm hoping to get back to it more soon!

Does it matter if I click through from here or from my subscription?
