This is just lovely. Wonderfully nuanced. It felt very realistic to me, I can see it happening just this way between them. Clark's jealousy, fear, and the tension was palpable. The poor, sweet boy. I love that it had a happy ending - I was worried! :)

Thanks. Sometimes I think I go for way too realistic, but it just feels right for me to do it that way.

I really enjoyed reading a more innocent Clark again and I loved the tension. It held up well through the story. It was obvious to us, the readers, that Lex wanted Clark. It just took Clark a little longer to figure it out. And they were so very sweet when they finally got together - as well as *very* hot. *g*

This was excellent! I liked that your prompt took a different take on the subject (most I have read took the established relationship with bad sex premise) and you really fleshed the story out.
