Some members liked the idea of having a kink meme/comment fic meme on got_exchange, especially since the other ASOIAF/GoT kink memes are fairly dead at the moment. (It's only posted on the mod account journal because I don't want anonymous comments on the exchange comm.)

Aw thanks, that makes me feel better! I really need to get commenting on all the lovely fills everyone has done.

Hopefully I can finish this over the weekend, going to post a bit more tonight and then sort out the rest of my ridiculous word count.

Hee, I'm glad you're liking it. I find them very cute too, in an ermm, 'edgy' sense I guess and yet still lacking in vulgarity points next to Tormund.

I was honestly dumbfounded when I heard that some fans interpreted their scene as skeevy "rape but she likes it". I thought the consent was so obvious. There needs to be more about these two. Nobody compares to Tormund. I was just talking to someone yesterday who said that there should be a kink meme for Tormund alone. ;)

Yes, I'm kind of surprised when I encounter that reaction aswell. One of the reasons why I go for them so much is the contrast between how rough they (consensually) get in bed and that adorable story of how they met.

Tormund definitely needs his own meme. He's far too big to share one with others, oh god.

I just don't get it. Asha is described as the kind of woman who would cut off a man's balls afterwards if he raped her, not who'd convince herself that it wasn't that bad. They're really just sweet together. And hot, tbh.

Did you read the Tormund/Selyse fill? There's so much awesome stuff on this meme so far, but I think Tormund/Selyse beats everything else. ;)

Mmm yes, I mean, you don't get the general impression Asha would let anybody boss her around for long. I like to think she humiliates him just as much as he does her, we just didn't get to see it because there's obviously more important stuff like Jon, Stannis, Dany going on.

Haha, that sounds fantastic. I'm ashamed to say I haven't read it yet, I've been the worst and only dropped one feedback comment on a gorgeous Theon, Asha, Jeyne exchange fic so far, but I'm totally going to check that one out and allll the fills on the masterlist.

Yep. On her ship she's clearly the captain and he does what she says, and it must speak of a pretty high level of trust that she allows him to treat her like that in the bedroom, because she'd have to know that he doesn't get any ideas afterwards.

Haha, no worries, I just mentioned it because it's so hilarious and I think everyone should read it. ;) But, yes, there's tons of other awesome stuff to, both in this meme and in the exchange. Btw, will you be participating in the next exchange? I'm like a one-loonie-advertising machine.

For sure, they really seem to understand each other. I thought that after she loses the kingsmoot, the fact all her crew stick with her and still follow her orders just shows how much they trust her/vice versa. Tris is the only one really pushing her to get the eff out of Deepwood. The others have more of a 'till the end' mindset, I guess.

I would love to participate in the exchange but unfortunately I can pretty much only write about the Iron born, or to a lesser extent, the Brotherhood without Banners. If anyone prompted/wanted a fic about either of them, I'd be fine. But it's like, the most huge cast of great characters in this series and for some reason I can't seem to get ideas for anything else. :(

Do the Ironborn include Theon? Because there are some people around asking for fic about Theon&Asha mostly.

Yup Theon would definitely be counted as one of them, for me, even though it probably goes against what he thinks of himself. I was so upset, everything he went through in ADWD. Like, that's not my keep-it-sleazy Theon anymore oh god. I will go check out the sign ups post and see if I could match up to something, I love reading people's ideas so much.

I never liked Theon much, but I loved his chapters in ADWD so, so much. I find him way more interesting now than he ever was before. ;)
Well, if you're okay with writing Theon, and with maybe only getting two prompts about him or so because the other three are about other characters, then you should be fine. I mean, there are participants who also write (and ask for) only a small number of characters.

I'd imagine, when Qarl passed Asha-pretending-to-be-Esgred and Theon on the wharf (this is a very brief scene in Clash I only noticed when I reread and saw they were all there together) he knew they were related, and was jealous anyway.

I totally understand that, about Theon. I mean, I did feel pretty bad for liking someone who was just such an asshole, because they were an asshole, but I also loved you got to see his regret eventually. This is going to sound lame, but his journey in ADWD was just amazing.

Ah, I see a bit more how it works now (this would be my first time taking part in an exchange and I really need to acquaint myself with the rules more). I would actually like the chance to branch out as far as characters are concerned, just didn't want to disappoint anyone in taking on a prompt it turned out I couldn't handle. But how you explained sounds great.

Qarl was there? I don't even remember that. I really need to reread some things.

I understand liking assholes (hey, I'm a huge fan of Roose ;)), but I never got into Theon. I just never found him all that interesting, but ADWD changed that. I'm really looking forward to seeing how his story continues in the next book.

If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask me. :) There's also a FAQ post here. I try to accomodate people as far as possible.
