This world was still intact. No seals to shatter, though whether the City could contain the number of people with powers or not remained to be seen.
Still, there was a part of Satsuki, a small part, that was glad they were here instead of in their own world. Given a new start. Here, perhaps she wouldn't have to find out if she was really okay with losing him.
Toph had always wondered what the sky looked like. Especially sunsets, since Katara had talked about how beautiful they were. Other people'd mentioned it too.
Yet another thing the blind Earthbender would never know.
She sat on a rock, facing west as the sun was going down. The warmth on her face was nice, but she wished that just once, she could actually see the colors and clouds and beauty. Just once. If there was one thing she could ever see, a sunset would be it, she thought.
Yeah, that'd be nice. Not that she even knew what a color looked like. Or a cloud.
But it'd never happen. Never.
The sun had gone down. She could tell; the warmth was gone, and the world seemed cold.
Poor little blind girl, she'd never see the sky in glory.

Diabound sat on a roof somewhere--he wasn't sure where, he hadn't bothered to figure it out. It wasn't important. Was was important was that he could see more of the City from there. He could watch people. And no one could see him easily.
He was amused by these people. These heroes. They were so easily fooled. Granted, it was more difficult to fool those who had known him before. He was thankful his host remembered so little, or he would be in trouble.
Even the supposed villains were easily fooled. He had no intention of working long term with Hodge or Angelica. He found Hodge annoying himself, and he wasn't the type to work with anyone for long.
He wasn't the best at acting, but lying was what excelled at. And he could keep doing that until his time ran out.
