Also the sex scene ahahahahah GOD I. Okay if you've ever seen The Ice Storm; in it there is a sex scene in a car between two fully clothed monstrously unhappy people. In the rain. It lasts literally six seconds, I counted it once.
To date, I have only ever seen one less appealing sex scene in a movie, and it was in this one.
....UH SO FAR THIS SOUNDS LIKE I HATED IT but I did not! It was for the most part quite good - like my god, was the credit sequence made to be studied in film classes forever or what - but the parts that were bad were so tremendously awful I'd get kind of thrown out of the story. :/
yeah i got thrown out a bit - mostly by the music 'cause i'm a geek about fitting music to scenes &c. - but mostly i thought it flowed better than the comic alsfa;s /prepares to get lanced for this
nooo that was definitely trufax. and *I* will actually be lanced for this, but I didn't mind the absence of squid, the ending worked for me. it had the same effect without sudden '....wait, a SQUID?' flailing i did when i read the book. XD
yeah, same here. XD i said that to my girlfriend and she was like YEAH BUT THE SQUID WAS GONE. but i just. don't even remember what role the squid played.
I'm agreeing with the music, I'm glad I'm not the only one bothered by it. Sometimes it fit but most of the time, no. :|
Sex scene was unbearably long, WTF. Why just WHY?! It felt like the longest three or so minuets ever! wtyho;aiyja;dfskljrg
My brother missed the giant squid-thing too...I didn't care lol.
Also this movie made me realize what a movie nerd I am...I spent most of it paying more attention to the hair, makeup, costumes, background, sfx and all that jazz than I did anything else. XD;
i didn't really miss the squid thing really . . . idk i was just like. 'oh no squid.' but the ending was more satisfying somehow. it seemed like. idk more cohesive. IDEK
yeah nite owl was def my favorite. and i loved laurie's actress. idk what everyone was talking about how she couldn't act? i liked her, i thought she fit the role but yeah whatever.
yeah and i thought rorschach was just about perfect even if he did sound like he had smoker's lung or something. the scene with the little girl was just DFJA;LSDKFJAL;SKFJALSFDK POOR RORSCHYBUTT. only less retarded idk. IT WAS VERY TOUCHING.
ozy was so gd fey oh god what. he was a;fksda.
i liked the ending. it seemed more cohesive, like i said. idk i'm sure you will hate me for it but the squid in the comic was very 'wtf' and i couldn't follow the mariner storyline, lulz. /fails
YEAH YOU KNOW in the movie I felt more "emotionally in touch" with Rorschach as well. ESPECIALLY AT THE END OH GOD HE WAS AMAZING. asoifahsfioasf :( Broke my lil heart.

The ending was more cohesive, especially to an audience in the theater. AND NU I DUNT H8 U. I can see why other people liked it more. I just... was used to the original ending if that makes sense? It was a bit spontaneous, which made it all the more "interesting" in a book full of, for the most part, linear events. But I definitely think for the movie, the new ending was appropriate.

I saw it last night and. I loved it, despite the floppy blue costar. XD; Though the music made me lol - especially the part where Ozmodeus or whatever was being a capitalistic dick at the other capitalistic dicks and in the background they were playing "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears.
