It ain't my thing, mind you, but I can appreciate that the adrenaline/endorphine rush from doing a suspension has got to be way off the fuckin' chain. Do people actually "cut out" of those, er, situations? Like, really? Seems like that would leave an ugly wound and maybe even keep you off the stage for a little while, but then all that stuff kinda falls under the "self-mutilation" category for me.

mmm, well imagine 6 lines to the shoulders 2 to center back, two out near the clavical end points and two to the elbows [nearly NO nerves in those ones]. then you run two lines to the side of the knees and face down. the thing is to reach back and cut the lines that go to your knees and fall [though fall's the term you're acutally swinging] into just the upper body hooks.

it jerks around, but your cutaneous is allready seperated to a certain part from your subcutaneous so there's very little to be concerned about there. and the skin? no it's more resilliant than that. the hooks would bend first.
