two weeks ago, while on their way to work, two of my colleagues saw a lite-brite board attached to one of our pillars on the side of the school. the figure depicted looked suspiciously like spongebob giving the middle finger to all passers by. the board was promptly removed as it might seem innappropriate to hang on the side of a school (just a ( Read more... )

I do. Though less hilarious is the fact that because doofuses thought lite-brites were bombs the two kids responsible are being charged with a bomb hoax, rather than something like disturbing the peace. Who thinks a lite-brite is a bomb? It's a battery and LEDs!

If the Big Dig doesn't get you first... Ines I miss you dearly but I don't know if I can visit a city that goes into DEFCON 1 over some Lite Brites.

at least boston has a bomb squad. the same day, one of the stations on the dc metro was closed down for 2 hours before they could locate any form of police officer to remove a suitcase from outside the station. apparently the dc metro police don't get up before 7am even for emergencies.
