For as long as I can remember, my parents have always complained about my organizational skills. I remember so many school mornings in elementary and middle school where I madly ran about the house, looking for the missing shoe, or the field trip permission slip. Wow. You're like me, only not me. I could never be accused of being neat, but I'm not dirty, either. Just, to the outsiders, "disorganised." I prefer to call it organised chaos. For the most part, I know where everything is and if I don't know exactly, then I know where I probably put it.

Score for your mom finally seeing it your way, though. Mine never did and my dad couldn't care, so I guess I win, too. Yay! We win!

Also? I haven't ever grasped the whole "every book vertically" thing on shelves. My books are all over the place, on the shelves and not. And that's how I like it. Boo ya.

Ha ha ha. That's how mine used to be...before the majority were packed in boxes for storage before college. If I pulled them all out they would be scattered everywhere because I don't have enough shelves. Bwah.
