What's disapointing is that LJ isn't used much anymore by my friends. Facebook seems to be the place to be and it's nice to be connected with so many but it's ... shallow.
Likeness, that garden thing, hugs, vampires? I prefer quality over quantity.
Hey, I don't think that's necessarily fair. People post just as much worthless crap on livejournal as they do on facebook. It's your choice whether you want zombies in your little green patch or not. I personally just choose not.
The dinosaur poem was great, I just try not to comment if I don't have anything worthwhile to say.
You are right now that I think about it. Kenny and others have posted some good essays on Facebook and not all I see on LJ is deep.
Generalizing is pointless. I apologize.
But as far as evaluating what you have to say as being worthwhile or not, I think saying anything is worthwhile as long as it is respectful. Isn't that what these networking blogs are all about?
I really didn't intend for you to apologise, you just voiced your opinion. I respect that.
And I don't mean that I don't have anything worthwhile to say, I just know that I get frustrated when people comment on every post I write, and I don't want to post with a frequency that causes people to want to ignore me.
