Oh Glee. I can't quit you now. Damn you. So, you in the Glee fandom may have seen this already. Well, I just have to need to talk about this! A lot.
♥____♥ This made my entire day yesterday. I'm not one who actually jumps up and down and squeals in excitement, but for this an exception was made. HEARTS AND STARS IN MAH EYES.
Okay, Darren Criss? Yeah, hi. You need to like, stay on the show forever. Mmmkay? I was not familiar with him before, but ever since seeing the casting of him and looking at a couple videos and pictures post-haircut (wise chose btw) I felt he could be a great match for bb Kurt.
In the beginning, I was looking forward to the idea of Sam/Kurt. However, in my opinion, I did not see the chemistry between Kurt and Chord's Sam. I do think Sam and Quinn are pretty cute (but want to see jealous Puck! Still love ya, PQ). I just couldn't envision Sam and Kurt being a good fit, or Sam being able to handle all of Kurt's... Kurt-ness, and I was glad they had Blaine come in. It's nothing against the actor Chord exactly, I simply can't picture these two as a believable couple.
But after just a single 3 minute clip, I can so easily see the chemistry between Chris and Darren. GAH. Kurt was so happy, which I don't think I've seen since Preggers. The whole thing almost made me throw up rainbows. And the looks Blaine gave him??? I don't think they're *~*in love*~* or anything yet, but oh there's something. I see the potential and I am so excited to see their scenes together.
Oh, Blaine. I am under your spell. If you can keep making Kurt looking happy like that, you need to stay. Somehow, they need to make this happen.
It also helps that Darren Criss, aside from just his looks and his voice, has so far come across as so articulate in his interviews for Glee. He seems to truly like his character, and the role he plays in Kurt's life. I like that.
Please let Kurt and Blaine form a good friendship that slowly leads into a cute as hell romance. Especially if for once Kurt will be the one to be pursued. I'm seriously rooting for these two. Kurt being Ryan Murphy's bb and all, on top of the overwhelmingly positive response to Klaine (at least from what I've seen) I do have high hopes for these two. DON'T FUCK THIS UP, ASSHOLES. I'LL HUNT YOU DOWN.
Back to listening to this song over and over. Oh, and I almost forgot about their duet of Baby, It's Cold Outside. I mean COME ON. This ship already has two songs and Blaine's first appearance hasn't even aired yet. I'm loving it.
