This weekend, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra performed along with the Charlie Chaplin film 'Modern Times' in Baltimore & Silver Spring. I gave thought to taking Mom on Mother's Day until I saw the ticket prices - $63 a pop. An awful lot for a movie that's already on my DVR. Just finished watching my first Charlie Chaplin film, specifically 'The Gold Rush'. It was an reissued version narrated by Chaplin himself. It was, of course, rather ridiculous and random, but very chuckleworthy. I have two more Chaplins to go. Last weekend we watched 'From Here To Eternity', a film about the dumbest soldiers ever.
