After a hellish time trying to get out of the house (which included smashing my head into a kitchen cabinet), I managed to go to the wrong hotel. Then I discovered, after I was there, that there were no concessions at said hotel. You bring you own (which I hadn't) or go to Chili's. Not a big Chili's fan. I forgot to remind Chris S to bid on the Croakinole board if it went up for sale. Anyone know what happened to that?

Didn't see that game there, and I'd remember that title! Can't recall that I saw Chris, for that matter. BTW, Donna Dearborn is ill and didn't make the con at all. She may miss Balticon as well (and she's the gaming chair!)

Ack. What's wrong with Donna (I don't plan to be at Balticon, at the moment, but in case of emergency I could pitch in.)

Croakinole is a giant board with wooden disks (like shuffleboard). It's the first game Hal ever taught me.

Definitely didn't see anything like Croakinole.

My understanding is that Donna injured her back and will need surgery in the very near future.
