[What you hear is a pen or a pencil on paper. Pages or sheets being leafed through, some silence. Then, a frustrated sigh- and out of nowhere, whatever arrangement of paper was just sitting next to the recording device goes flying, crashes against the wall and audibly scatters on the floor.]

Damn it!!

I'm probably not teaching material anyway. If that's true...if that's true then...

Ah sorry, got distracted there a moment.

That's...kind of a cruel aspect of this place.

I think you could be a good teacher, actually.

And yes. Kind of.

Heh, thanks I guess. But I'm probably too impatient right?

Cruelty is everywhere. I shouldn't be surprised.

Possibly, but you'd be much better than me. I hate having to repeat myself.

That's the worst. But I guess I'm used to it, I talk to a lot of people who don't understand everything I'm trying to tell them.

You must find all of my questions annoying.

If I found you or your questions annoying, I wouldn't talk to you. Let alone accept you as a little brother.

That's not necessarily true, Al is annoying sometimes and he's still my brother and I wouldn't trade him off for anything.

I've wondered how you manage to be so patient because I clearly don't know anything about your world and I keep asking you about what is probably obvious and trivial to you, heh. Like the bus in New York.

It's because you ask about things most people here would take for granted that I don't find your questions annoying. That, and you're bright. I appreciate not having to spoon-feed people every little thing.

Bright maybe, but I'm pretty ignorant about the future still. I still feel like I don't know that much even though you've told me some things.

Some being the key word here. this time didn't develop within a month after all, it's only normal that it can't be understood completely within such a short time.

Yeah, man the year is so far in the future, it's a little mindblowing to think about really. I can't even describe how these things float around in my brain. It's hard to take sometimes. New York was so huge. I don't know what to think about it. I can't imagine ever spending a lot of time somewhere like that. I mean...wouldn't you get lost?

People get lost all the time, but that's what maps are for, and locals you can ask, and the police will help if you really can't find back home.

I wouldn't trust the police.

I wish I could help you more Mello. I can't imagine what I'd do without....

you should really make up your mind whether you want to help me or get back at me, you know.
