In looking through my laptop backup directory for something else entirely, i found a piece of flash i wrote a couple of years ago. I don't know if i ever posted it here or at the flash fiction community we had going, but looking it over, i'm pretty proud of it. I changed two words in it this time, to make voice of one of the characters a bit more
