It's still really warm and mild out, but for some reason my landlord is still blasting the heat on in the apartment with the result that I'm spending a lot of time panting in front of open windows. UGH. I hate when it gets warm and stuffy inside. D: Could be worse, though. It could be that January and February I spent in the Apartment of Doom

Also, on the subject of domestic spats, Tania's ex-roommate's ....new... roommate (that is, the Tania-replacement) called the police on a domestic dispute she could see going on in the building across from her. The lady of the couple had a baseball bat, apparently.

And then the next day or two days later or something they called hre down to the police station because when they got into the apartment they found them both dead. ...Yep.

I'm pretty sure the people next door to us in the Apartment of D00m had a child... that... disappeared one day. It was terrifying.

I heard something on the news last night about people found dead in their home I think? But I'm not sure if it was the same instance. I only caught the tail end of it.

D'you think? I've been contemplating it! I mean on the one hand I don't really approve of all the pressure it's been putting on people to donate, but on the other hand I like that people can choose their own charities. I'll take this under consideration! XD

Yeah. It even sounds like a very strange rumour. Though I could see Torchwood working a lot better in the U.S. than DW.

If you're up for it, and yeah, people probably do feel pressured, but I think people will feel pressured anywhere. I went into a Couche-Tard yesterday and the cashier asked if I could donate a dollar to the relief effort. I couldn't say no, even though I'm now in an a bit of a bidding war. lol

Hmm, yeah. That would be a very awkward situation. I don't like donating place unless I know what I'm donating toBidding closes tomorrow, though, so I have to make up my mind really quickly. *

But...but in that same article it says they might try to reboot Doctor Who for American audiences, too. That's just plain wrong. Torchwood, yes. I can really see that. But if the Doctor ever has an American accent I may just plain cry. Unless they can get David Tennant and Billie Piper to star in it and pay them huge amounts of money and make them live in my country. Or Christopher Eccleston.
