Sherlock Fic: Molly
Drabble for July prompt #15 at watsons_woes . We were supposed to correct something. The one thing that irked me in Sherlock, was an apparent inconsistency between the blogs online and the show. In the blogs, Molly comments on John's blog several times, but in TGG, she doesn't know his name. I tried to explain this inconsistency. Dunno if that came through, but that's what I was getting at.
Molly
She never felt properly embarrassed when she was in a room with Sherlock. It was only when she got back to her flat and started dissecting each conversation that she realized he’d insulted her… or that other people had been in the room…
She did become angry when he insulted Jim. But even then, she wasn’t embarrassed… not even for forgetting his friend’s name. The one with the blog. The one who, she now realized, had been kind to her when Sherlock hadn’t.
So when she found herself in trouble, it was the first name that came to mind: John.
