Today I watched "the Passion" by Mel Gibson to be in contact with the real sense of this Good Friday. But I'm sure that after every passion there is a resurrection, so I wish you and your family a real "resurrection" with a very happy Easter.

What a beautiful church and crucifix. It appears that your communion rail is still intact. In the parish I attend, part of the communion rail is still left on both sides of the church as a reminder, but serves as nothing more than a place to lay the church bulletins and quilt of the month tickets.

The photob of Ecce Homo which I think means "Behold the Man" is beautiful. I don't recall seeing a statue or photo of that before.

As always, thanks for sharing your photos with us. I appreciate being able to view the ancient churches of Italy where I'll never be able to go personally. They are so different than here in the U.S.
