Flossed a little too fervently and winged one of my fillings. Ow. Now the other side of my jaw hurts too. I'm starting to think tying a cloth around my head like they did in the old days for toothaches is a good idea since I can't always hold both sides of my face between my hands.

Anyone ever have a partially finished root canal? Like he did one out of the 3 canals in the molar and filled it in until my next appointment Friday but right after the pain killer wore off, HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! does it hurt. Like pain level of before I visited the dentist and he told me I needed a root canal hurt in my jaw and temple. I can't ( Read more... ) -

So as I'm buying all the gifts for toys for charity and stacking them up, I've finally come to an answer to my continuing obsession over stuffed toys. I really like fluffy things and buying fluffy things and giving fluffy things, so I have a LOT of plushies and plush blankets in my pile (in my defense they WERE on the kids' wish lists). So this morning my alarm didn't go off because my phone thought it was 2:50 when all my other clocks said 8:40. And I specifically set my phone alarm because it is more accurate (especially with the constant power outages we had during Sandy, I just got sick of resetting the digital clock). There was this kid walking shirtless on the side of the road who couldn't have been more than high school age, but as I was trying not to hit him (no sidewalk), I had the passing thought of "my was he was cut"... and then felt pervy. Man I feel old. -

Just saw the new Star Trek (in 3d!). Why did nobody tell me lip smackers came out with girl scout cookie flavors in 2011?!? I just went on ebay and brought set. (Not a particularly proud moment.) I don't even need more lip balm, but girl scout cookie flavors!!! -

I am openly passive aggressively venting at work and I recognize it but I can't seem to stop myself. I have lost my "nice" personality and can't find it again. :-( Part of it I recognize as stress and the feeling of lack of support. The other? Well *shrug* if I know... I can feel my pores, and I mean feel them. I don't know why since it's not like I skimped on moisturizer or have fleas. But I'm either about to shave all over or itch out of my clothes and skin. That and the sudden, way more than the norm, breakouts is showing me how much my body is agreeing with the change in weather. Yippee.
