Ce'Nedra steps out of the Royal Nursery after getting Geran and Wolf settled on their cot and X'Daran in her bassinet. She sighs in contentment at the moment of peace and goes to the sideboard to pour herself a small glass of wine.

Ce'Nedra still looks very pale and thin, but happier for being around the trees and family she loves. She drifts slowly away from the campsite in the direction that Garion rode off in, hoping against hope that he would ride back with their son.
